Randstad Education is seeking a talented and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex educational needs.
Job description
* Provide one-on-one and group support to children with complex needs.
* Assist in creating and delivering tailored learning plans.
* Support the classroom teacher with lesson planning and behaviour management.
* Help with personal care and mobility where required.
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and support needs.
* Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
* You have an Enhanced DBS check on the updated service or are willing for one.
* You possess a minimum of 6 months of experience working in UK schools.
* You have experience working with children with complex educational needs (preferred).
* You are able to commit to working long-term/full-time.
* You are ideally available for 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
* You can provide professional references from your recent employers.
* You are eligible to work in the UK (ETW).
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* You are a team player and are able to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Experience
6+ months of experience working with children in the UK.
