3rd Line Support Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Maidstone
About the Role
Our client is a small to medium sized business who specialise in Managed Services who are looking to grow. We are looking for a 3rd Line support engineer who is happy to help resolve 2nd line network issues as well as 3rd Line, daily tasks can range from a printer failure to a P1.
The company are based near Maidstone and operate a 24/7 Service desk.
This role requires all engineers to be on a shift rotation which is spread fairly across the team.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, previous MSP experience is desirable
- Active Directory and Group Policy.
- VMWare or Hyper-V
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Hardware PC builds
- Antivirus, Web-Filtering and Backup software
- Good Network knowledge with WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, WLAN, Switches, Routers, Firewalls.
