Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join a growing engineering team in Peterborough. This role will involve working on a variety of design projects, producing accurate drawings and models to support manufacturing and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to translate concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings
- Support the development of new products and improvements to existing designs
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and associated documentation
- Ensure designs meet technical requirements, quality standards, and deadlines
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)
- Previous experience as a CAD Designer or in a similar design role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
