Scope of the Role
Reporting to the tablet manufacturing supervisor, this position serves in a technical role leading equipment disassembly, cleans, and change-over of complex tablet manufacturing processes. This incumbent will:
-Verify the equipment has been correctly assembled/reassembled.
-Verify proper machine settings.
-Will be expected to be trained and capable of performing all functions of a Manufacturing Specialist.
-Work with close tolerance and specialized equipment.
-Will be crewed to run equipment as required, and other duties as assigned per supervision.
-Accurately, repeatedly and contemporaneously document GMP data on equipment logs, cleaning checklists, and other controlled documentation.
-Execution of equipment and manufacturing suite cleaning tasks utilizing manual and automated processes and prescribed cleaning checklists, to include confined space entry.
-Performance of major and minor equipment servicing activities including disassembly, reassembly and set-up.
-At times, this position requires working closely with the department Engineers and Leaders for suite and/or equipment improvements.
Experience Required
-A High School diploma (or G.E.D.) is required.
-Excellent attendance record and work history.
-All candidates will complete a criminal background check and drug screen.
-Candidates must have the ability to work 40 hours per week with availability for overtime when necessary.
-Must have open availability for training on various shifts.
-Basic math, English communication skills, legible penmanship, and reading comprehension are required.
-Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
-A working knowledge of computers is required
-All Specialists must be able to stand for approximately 85% of their total shift.
-A strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include eye protection, hearing protection, half-face and/or Powered Air Purifying Respirators, protective clothing and fall restraint harnesses will be provided if required.
