Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of chemical products. They're looking for a skilled Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their established Engineering Team.

What you'll be doing
* PPM and Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and automated machinery
* Ensuring a timely and accurate handover between shifts
* Improving the performance and longevity of machinery, equipment and parts
* Upholding the highest levels of Health and Safety standards
* Supporting the maintenance team and wider engineering department
* Ad-Hoc Facilities Maintenance rectification and improvement work
What you'll need
* Strong Mechanical Maintenance Skillset
* Excellent understanding of pneumatics
* Industry-recognized qualification (NVQ / C&G, HNC)
* Basic Electrical Maintenance skills (replacing motors, sensors, contactors etc)
* Appreciation for stringent Health and Safety standards
* Fabrication & Welding (Desirable)
* At least three years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing role (FMCG / Packaging or similar is highly desirable)

* A team-player - able to support a close-knit maintenance team
* Able to work independently
* Strong problem-solving capability
