An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior CBT Therapist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Southgate, North London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is one of the UK's leading centres for the treatment of a wide range of mental health difficulties including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
To be considered for this position you must hold a diploma/degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with full BACBP accreditation
As the Senior CBT Therapist your key duties include:
* Deliver high-quality CBT interventions for clients with complex or severe mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and OCD
* Supervise and support junior therapists and trainees, offering clinical guidance, feedback, and development support
* Contribute to service development, including protocol design, quality improvement initiatives, and promoting evidence-based practice across the team
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams
* Provide training and consultation to other healthcare professionals on CBT principles and techniques
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
* Strong leadership skills
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior clinicians are highly valued
* Extensive clinical experience working with a broad range of mental health disorders is essential, ideally within secondary care or specialized services
The successful Senior CBT Therapist will receive an excellent salary of GBP50,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
