This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of important projects across the civil engineering, hydrology, and environmental landscapes. They are on the lookout for a talented, experienced Hydraulic Modeller, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of professionals, based near the lively, diverse Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
* Contributing to a range of engaging projects across the public and private sectors, including residential developments, healthcare, higher education, natural flood management and flood alleviation, etc.
* Developing models using Flood Modeller and Tuflow (and similar software systems)
* Producing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Nutrient Neutrality Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Contributing to Wetland Management, Re-Wilding, and other environmental schemes
* Flood Risk mapping and estimation
* Engaging with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
* A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology, Geography, or Environmental Science (or other, relevant discipline)
* Experience of working in a UK-based consultancy, specifically within a flood risk/hydraulic modelling role
* Confident and competent in the use of Flood Modeller and Tuflow
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrable passion for flood risk, drainage, and climate change
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
* Excellent time management skills
