Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Marketing Programme Manager EMEA to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
Job Summary
The Marketing Programme Manager EMEA will be responsible for the delivery of various marketing and loyalty projects and programmes across the marketing and loyalty division. These initiatives will focus on driving revenue, increasing brand awareness, engaging members and franchisees, and ultimately growing contribution.
The role includes ownership of major marketing and loyalty projects, taking them from the requirements gathering stage through to final delivery. The role also includes management of ongoing workstreams including CRM and loyalty operations initiatives.
The Manager will act in a supporting role to the Director Loyalty Marketing EMEA and will take the role of line manager to the Intern Loyalty, Brand & Digital Marketing EMEA.
The role will support the full portfolio of Wyndham brands, including Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham Rewards.

Example Project: Introduce new marketing platform for all EMEA hotels
CRM
Managing the member communications process across Wyndham’s full portfolio of brands in EMEA, including Wyndham Rewards. Development of campaigns to activate and retain our existing members in market (whilst maximising opportunities in the global Wyndham Rewards member base). Includes strategic direction, agency management, agency briefing, soliciting content, coordinating translations, monitoring performance, analysing results and communication with stakeholders.
Loyalty Operations
Managing Wyndham Rewards communication with the Operational Teams, including programme changes, updates and new initiatives. Developing specific communication relevant to the EMEA region to engage and inform internal and franchise teams. Includes amending and creating copy, coordinating legal input, coordinating translations, agency briefing, delivering written and verbal updates and stakeholder management.
Loyalty Collateral
Managing Wyndham Rewards collateral, including management of stock levels and forecasting usage and cost. Development and optimisation of collateral alongside the Brand Team. Includes gathering stakeholder feedback, agency briefing, cross functional working, usage reporting and communication with stakeholders.
Complexity
The activities of the Marketing Programme Manager EMEA will have an impact on the company’s retention and contribution goals. This role requires the ability to undertake multiple projects and workstreams working in conjunction with external agencies, Global & NAMER counterparts, the wider EMEA team and the international franchisee community and delivering upon key measurables linked to revenue and membership.
Scope/ Financial Responsibility
This role requires implementation of internal and external communications to deliver the commercial needs of the business. This entails execution of project plans, creation of marketing/ data briefs and collateral, working with the legal team where appropriate, ensuring creative adherence, programme testing, communicating and engaging with our partners and with our franchisees for participation in promotions.
The role requires management of one direct report (Intern).
This role does not require management of a cost centre, however it will include management of a budget allocation for workstreams and financial evaluation for project costs and forecasts.

Experience/ Certificates/ Education
• Degree qualified, ideally within a marketing or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• CIM qualified desired
• Previous experience in a marketing role desired, ideally within the travel/ hospitality sector
• Previous experience in managing marketing projects
• Previous experience in working with loyalty programmes
• Experience in direct marketing, email, customer relationship, customer insight or loyalty marketing
• Experience in liaising with external agencies
• Fluency in verbal and written English is essential. Additional business level language skills in German, Turkish or Arabic would be an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
