The GRF Senior Project Manager/Americas Lead is responsible for orchestrating capital and operational projects related to real estate and facilities investments. This position ensures the successful delivery of SAP Americas’ workspaces, adhering to project charters and utilizing approved processes and systems. The role involves cross-collaboration with global and regional colleagues at all organizational levels, serving both strategic and operational functions.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with pre-planning teams to identify suitable test fit scenarios for new or modified locations.
-Develop preliminary schedules and cost estimates based on initial scope details or square footage.
-Create and manage detailed project reports and requests, including new real estate decisions, business case submittals and budget/timeline changes (7020, 7030, 7040).
-Engage with LOBs, Senior Leadership, and design teams to initiate approved projects. Conduct kick-off calls and facilitate the hiring of architects and various consultants.
-Establish regular meetings and oversee project calls with internal and external teams, transitioning leadership to General Contractor PMs as appropriate.
-Act as a GRF liaison, building robust relationships with business partners across Global Procurement, IT, Global Physical Security, HR, Legal, and other departments.
-Coordinate with IT, Procurement, Security, and other stakeholders to validate scope and optimize value-engineering efforts.
-Partner with Global Procurement Office contacts to develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for services like General Contracting, Furniture, Architecture, and Engineering.
-Ensure timely updates to all active projects within project tools, collaborating with internal and external PMs to maintain authenticity in tasks, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
-Communicate clearly in written and verbal form to service internal customers, project team members, and GRF local teams.
-Quarterly connection with sub-regional heads to ensure accurate forecasting for ongoing projects.
-Support project needs across all phases from Pre-design, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration to project closeout and handoff.
-Review drawings and designs at each milestone to ensure alignment with GRF and Line of Business expectations.
-Share lessons learned, best practices, and design/project guidelines with GRF and external providers as needed.

-Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations: None required, PMP Certification (Preferred but not required)
-Experience: Minimum of 5 years' project management experience in a corporate environment, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Decision Making Authority: This position has the authority to make decisions or suggestions based on established rules or procedures and contribute significantly to shaping these rules or procedures. More complex decisions are escalated to higher levels for resolution.
Formal Responsibility for Others: The GRF Senior Project Manager/Americas Lead shares responsibility with peer colleagues to lead and manage project-related teams, overseeing

-20 non-employee project-related individuals.

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 89600 - 152300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
