HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
Location: Yate, Bristol (BS37 5NH)
Pay Rate: GBP22.00 per hour
Overtime: GBP34.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 AM
Hours: 07:00 - 15:30
Contract Type: Ongoing - Temp to Perm Opportunity
We are currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy and well-organised site based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent weekday work with competitive pay and a clear route to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Class 2 (Category C) vehicles on local and regional routes
* Perform scheduled collections and deliveries
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate driving logs
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
* Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues
Requirements:
* Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
* CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
* A minimum of 6 month's recent Class 2 driving experience
* Solid understanding of driver compliance and road safety
* Reliable, professional, and punctual
What's on Offer:
* GBP22.00 per hour basic pay
* Overtime paid at GBP34.00 per hour
* Monday to Friday only - no weekend work
* Day shifts from 07:00 AM to 15:30 PM
* Ongoing role with the potential to become permanent
