Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Aircraft Composite Mechanic to join our SAMC team in San Antonio, TX .
Position Responsibilities:
Aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have composite repair experience Receives technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician Enter relevant data in aircraft logs and records.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role 3+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical composite component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts 3+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair 3+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as micro bonder, vacuum gauges and heat blankets 3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications 3+ years of experience with prioritizing workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience presenting to leadership, internal and external customers Experience with developing and maintaining partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Starting Pay Rate : $75,000 / $36.06 per hour
Additive Pay:
$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
