Responsibilities
The Network Engineer operates company’s internal data communications systems
-Plans, designs and implements location and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP).
-Configure firewalls and switches for local and corporate networks
-Supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches
-Provides training and assists with proposal writing
-Works on project implementation
-Lead Quarterly network reviews
-Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons
-Works directly with the Customer on external and internal networks
-Responsible for network activity at remote locations
-Assist with local hardware, software, implementations, rollouts and support
-Assist with local PC support and workspace rollouts
Qualifications
Education
• Associates degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
• 1-5 years of work experience; 2 years of related experience is required

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
