PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

-Trains and assists with Retail accounting functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS
May train and assist with:

-Account reconciliations
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Preparation and analysis of financial reports/dashboards
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Process documentation/automation opportunities
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Annual budget process/forecasting initiatives that arise
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Audit schedule preparation
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Reconciliation standardization, such as bank, credit card, and general ledger (GL)
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply

-Other project work as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Must be pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree at a 4-year university in good academic standing at the time the internship begins.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

-Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

-Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary.
