Reeson Education is recruiting a flexible and dynamic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the M32 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting across all key stages and passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide both general classroom support and targeted SEND support, working with a wide range of needs across different year groups. The school is looking for a proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can bring energy, creativity, and patience to their team.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

* Provide general classroom support across all primary key stages
* Work closely with the class teacher to ensure smooth daily routines
* Deliver one-to-one and small group support as a Teaching Assistant
* Support pupils with a diverse range of SEND needs
* Adapt to the curriculum across different year groups with flexibility
* Help manage behaviour using school policies and positive strategies
* Build strong, supportive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
* Communicate progress and concerns clearly to teaching staff
* Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards as a responsible Teaching Assistant
* Be a reliable, consistent presence across the school as a Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
* Knowledge of the national curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
* Understanding of SEND needs and strategies for support
* Flexible, patient, and resilient with a positive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness )
* Commitment to a long-term, full-time Teaching Assistant role
