Introduction
Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking company within the crop protection industry. With a long history of stability and steady growth, the company combines global resources with a regional presence, allowing it to adapt quickly to regulatory changes while maintaining a strong reputation for reliability. Their portfolio spans both conventional and biological solutions, with significant investment in innovation and sustainability, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the industry's evolution.
About Our Client
One of the company's defining features is its balanced and diverse product portfolio, which covers traditional crop protection solutions as well as biological and biorational technologies. The advantage of this approach is resilience against shifting regulatory and market pressures. For you as a regulatory professional, this means the opportunity to work across a broad and innovative portfolio, strengthening your expertise and positioning you at the cutting edge of the sector.
The company also places great emphasis on regulatory excellence and compliance with EU frameworks, including Regulation 1107/2009. With well-established processes and significant resources dedicated to regulatory science, the advantage is that your work will be supported by a culture that values scientific integrity and precision. The benefit to you is the ability to deepen your EFATE expertise while making a tangible impact on the registration and sustainability of products across Europe.
Finally, our client is guided by a values-driven culture with a clear focus on long-term sustainability, ethical practices, and corporate responsibility. This philosophy ensures a working environment where employees are trusted, empowered, and encouraged to take ownership of their projects. For you, this means the chance to operate with a high level of autonomy while still having the backing of a stable, supportive organisation that is genuinely invested in both its people and its role in society.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review environmental fate (EFATE) and exposure assessments in line with EU Regulation 1107/2009.
* Conduct modelling, interpret data, and contribute to risk assessments for crop protection products.
* Support the preparation and submission of regulatory dossiers for product authorisation.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, R&D, and portfolio management teams.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the company's sustainability and product stewardship objectives.
Key Requirements
* 7-10 years of experience in environmental fate and exposure assessment.
* Strong track record with EU regulatory dossiers under Regulation 1107/2009.
* Proficiency in EFATE modelling tools and risk assessment methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
Additional Information
The role will be primarily based in France, Spain, Germany, or Poland, though other European locations may be considered for the right candidate. This is an opportunity to join a stable, innovative company offering long-term career prospects, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to sustainable agriculture through regulatory science.
