Position Description
Performs basic daily gage calibration and mastering, completing quality audits, operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other gaging as needed.
Job Responsibilities
-Performs a variety of quality checks on manufactured parts. Reviews Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and communicate findings
-Communicates non-conforming product
-Generates and maintains documentation and revision control of quality related data
-Supports manufacturing functions related to quality including issuing quality alerts, creating visual standards, and tracking non-conforming materials
-Sets gauges and insure they work properly. Verifies calibration of gauge equipment
-Performs other duties as assigned

-Basic computer skills required
-Good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
-Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma in equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
Quality experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements
May be required to lift or carry product parts, and/or other materials of various smaller sizes and weights up to 17 lbs
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
