Job Title: Senior/Principal Air Quality Consultant

Salary: EUR60,000 - EUR75,000 + Benefits
A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior/Principal Air Quality Consultant to join its growing team in Wexford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role, delivering technical excellence across air quality, emissions, and regulatory compliance projects, while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development.
As a Senior/Principal Air Quality Consultant, you will manage and deliver high-profile projects for clients in infrastructure, transport, and urban development. You will provide technical expertise in dispersion modelling, impact assessments, and LAQM reporting, while building strong relationships with clients, regulators, and local authorities. This role offers scope to shape the consultancy's air quality services in Ireland.

Duties for the role of Senior/Principal Air Quality Consultant include:
Leading and managing a range of air quality consultancy projects
*
Delivering technical assessments, modelling, and impact reports
*
Producing and reviewing high-quality technical documents and ES chapters
*
Mentoring and supporting the development of junior staff
*
Liaising with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders
*
Supporting bids, proposals, and wider business growth initiatives
Skills and experience required for the role of Senior/Principal Air Quality Consultant:
6+ years of consultancy or regulatory experience in air quality
*
Strong knowledge of ADMS, AERMOD, and IAQM/EPUK guidance
*
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related discipline
*
Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards accreditation desirable
*
Strong communication and leadership skills
*
Full UK/Irish driving licence
