What you will do
-Work within a team structure to meet the performance objectives set out for the specific areas of responsibility.
-Promotes and participates in safe, effective, and cost-efficient operations in alignment of the Company’s annual budgets, goals, HSE and company standards
-Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment to monitor performance, process and equipment in the fields assigned to the Central Control Unit.
-Analysis and adjust to maintain/optimize well performance and processes in association with agreed upon Control Center Unit guidelines.
-Implement appropriate controls for critical intervention activities to ensure loss of containment risk is minimized.
-Support incident and/or operational upset investigations, working with field operations
-Develop and maintain surveillance processes that support integrity and reliability issues which have the potential to cause HSE or production impacts.
-Responsible for Incident notifications (SAFT reporting) via SAP (reporting incidents as impacted by the CCU).
-Log and discuss any operations abnormalities with production team and foreman
-Monitor and record all relevant well information, including production rates, storage of liquids, pressures, temperatures, injection volumes, etc. (TBD).
-Develops effective Handover.
-CCU Operator will monitor and control multiple pieces of process equipment over various locations from a remote location.
-CCU Operator will have completed, or will complete, the Training Modules assigned
About You
Skills and Qualifications
-5-10 years of relevant experience and/or education or both.
-Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Internet, and web- based applications, SCADA and HMI applications.
-Professional and polished demeanor. Able to work directly with all levels of personnel.
-Ability to handle multiple Facilities from one Remoted location.
-Demonstrated maturity in handling Emergency Response and communications internally.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
-Sr Level Control Room Operator
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
-Shift work – rotating schedule
-Frequently stationary for long periods of time, with occasional movement about the office
-Constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery
-Ability to lift to 35 pounds is required
-Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
-Oral communication over the phone, radio, video, and in person
-Some travel to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities
-Occasional use of personal protective equipment
