Job Overview
The Health Information Management array of programs is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty to teach the First Year Experience (FYE) and facilitate the orientation to support academic success for Cancer Registry Management, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Health Information Systems Technology, Healthcare Management, and certificate programs.

This position requires the adjunct to have a comprehensive understanding of each of the Health Information program areas, including an understanding of online learners, and to provide support and resources for student success.

Essential Functions
-Utilize the approved orientation curriculum to deliver structured orientation courses and facilitate synchronous meetings for each Health Information Management program area.
-Facilitate First Year Experience (FYE) courses to introduce students to academic expectations, resources and career pathways
-Evaluate student performance and provide appropriate feedback
-Maintain records of student attendance
-Collaborate with program coordinators and full-time faculty to support program goals and accreditation standards
-Participate in adjunct faculty meetings

Minimum Requirements
-Master’s degree in student services in higher education, or health information management, or education
-Minimum of two (2) years of academic advising
-Commitment to student success
