Director of RxCompass & Variable Copay
Role and Responsibilities The Director of RxCompass and Variable Copay is a strategic and operational leader accountable for ensuring these core Liviniti solutions deliver measurable value to clients, providers, and members. This leader will oversee a fully staffed organization, evaluate workflows, and drive operational excellence while building a culture of accountability, development, and compassion. Success in this role will be measured by cost savings delivered, client and member satisfaction, and the ability to scale operations as Liviniti continues to grow. Within this position, you will: Manage day-to-day operations for RxCompass and Variable Copay. Oversee all functions tied to clinical engagement, prior authorization, benefit navigation, and variable copay optimization. Ensure workflows run efficiently, align with compliance standards, and support Liviniti's CARES values in every interaction. Develop, track, and deliver KPIs for cost savings, SLA performance, turnaround times, and satisfaction outcomes. Establish clear performance benchmarks tied to contractual obligations and client expectations. Translate data into actionable insights to highlight program effectiveness and ensure transparent reporting of ROI for clients. Collaborate with IT and Product teams to enhance workflows with automation and reporting tools. Partner with internal technology leaders to identify pain points and design system enhancements that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and scale capacity. Lead operational input into product roadmaps and data integration strategies. Lead operational problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of escalations. Act as the point of accountability for complex issues, balancing speed of resolution with quality outcomes. Engage cross-functional resources as needed to maintain trust with clients, providers, and members. Conduct ongoing assessments of team roles, reporting lines, and capacity. Propose and implement adjustments to strengthen alignment, eliminate redundancies, and optimize delivery. Coach and mentor team leaders, fostering accountability and ownership. Develop leadership talent by modeling decision-making, holding leaders to defined expectations, and empowering them to act with autonomy while remaining aligned to strategic goals. Build development pathways to grow team talent and leadership depth. Implement training programs, cross-training initiatives, and succession planning to ensure future-ready leadership pipelines and operational bench strength. Ensure support workflows deliver accuracy, timeliness, and compassion. Create a culture where both process efficiency and member experience matter equally, ensuring every interaction demonstrates transparency and care. Monitor satisfaction and resolution metrics, and improvements where needed. Track Net Promoter Score (NPS), client surveys, and resolution rates. Use data to identify trends, design corrective actions, and demonstrate continuous improvement to stakeholders. Act as primary operational partner for client relationships. Engage directly with client executives to demonstrate program performance, respond to needs, and strengthen long-term relationships that differentiate Liviniti's service model. Ensure readiness for client onboarding and program administration. Oversee cross-functional readiness checks, implementation processes, and resource planning to guarantee smooth launches and rapid time-to-value for new and renewing clients. Provide transparent performance reporting and demonstrate cost savings delivered. Deliver compelling reporting packages with insights that reinforce program ROI and strengthen client confidence in RxCompass and Variable Copay offerings. Oversee operational vendor relationships, ensuring performance and compliance with service expectations. Manage external vendor partnerships tied to infusion management, specialty pharmacy, OLP, and other channel operations. Hold partners accountable to SLAs and compliance requirements. Coordinate with vendors to support infusion management, OLP, and channel operations. Ensure operational alignment between Liviniti and its vendor ecosystem, creating seamless end-to-end experiences for members and clients. Provide operational input for growth initiatives and client renewals. Partner with Business Development and Account Management to inform proposals, provide operational proof points, and align growth with operational capacity. Support sales efforts with operational proof points and scalability insights. Represent RxCompass and Variable Copay capabilities in sales presentations, demonstrating program maturity, cost savings, and scalability to prospective clients. Maintain accountability for RxCompass/Variable Copay financial performance. Own the P&L of both programs, ensuring operations are run efficiently, budgets are adhered to, and cost savings are delivered back to clients. Partner with the SVP on budget approvals and strategic financial planning. Work closely with senior leadership to prepare, present, and manage budgets while identifying opportunities for reinvestment and growth. Develop scalability to support the growth of Variable Copay. Build processes, talent, and systems capable of handling rapid growth while maintaining precision, compliance, and excellent client outcomes. Abides by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI). If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources. This position may manage other roles and shall foster teamwork and cooperation among the team.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full-time/Salaried/Exempt. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT. We cover clients from the West to the East Coast, work times must be adjusted to cover meetings in all time zones. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands. Travel This position requires 10% - 15% travel.
Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required (Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or related field). 7-10+ years of leadership experience in pharmacy benefits management, healthcare operations, or related industries. Experience managing large teams and improving workflows to deliver measurable operational outcomes. Demonstrated success in defining and tracking KPIs tied to client satisfaction, member support, and financial performance
