• The firm are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its busy Private Client team, with strong technical experience in wills, probate, and estate administration matters.
• In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload that includes drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and related documents, as well as advising clients on inheritance tax planning and asset protection.
• Additionally, you will oversee the administration of estates from initial instruction through to distribution, advising executors and beneficiaries on their legal obligations, and applying for Grants of Probate or Letters of Administration.
• The position requires consulting with financial institutions, HMRC, and other professional advisors, as well as attending client meetings both in the office and off-site. You will also be expected to take an active role in supporting the firm’s business development activities.
• Candidates who hold a STEP qualification, or are working towards it, are highly desirable, particularly those with experience in advising on trusts and tax-efficient estate planning, along with knowledge of digital probate applications and modern case management systems.
